Labor Support Package

Package details

  • 2-3 Prenatal Visits 

  • 1st prenatal visit​ 1-1.5 hr

    • Typically during your 2nd trimester​​​​

    • Discuss your birth preferences

    • Work through your uncertainties and fears

    • Develop a birth plan 

    • Several educational topics to prepare you for the birth of your baby

    • Talk about signs of early labor

  • 2nd prenatal visit​ 1-1.5 hr​​

    • Discuss different labor positions 

    • Preferences for the kind of environment you want during labor

    • Talk about signs of early and active labor

    • When to call healthcare provider

    • Walk you through what you can expect during labor

    • If breastfeeding is your preferred feeding choice, we will discuss what could help the success rate of breastfeeding.

    • Discuss newborn feeding preferences, medications, testing and standards of care

  • 3rd prenatal visit (Virtually or Phone)​ If there is something we didn't get to discuss during our first two visits a third visit will be scheduled to cover the topics

  • Weekly ​follow-up starting at 36 weeks to keep me informed regarding maternal and fetal well-being. Check for any changes in birth plan, discuss anything you have on your mind.

  • On call 24/7 when you are 38 weeks pregnant until birth

  • Continuous active labor support 

  • 1-2 hours of support after birth to assist with bonding and newborn feeding

  • 1 postpartum visit (within the first 3 weeks of delivery)
