To empower and educate families regarding perinatal care and perinatal support. To enhance your birthing experience and increase the possibility of achieving the birth you desire and deserve.
The Birth of Mama2Bee
Mama2Bee was birthed from heartfelt feedback I received from my patients and colleagues. Thank you to all my patients that told me that having me as nurse felt like they had 1:1 dedicated service while adhering to their preferences. My goal is that I can extend the knowledge and skills, I've obtain through personal and professional experiences to clients seeking perinatal support.
My name is Danielle Sollers. I am a native of the Baltimore/
Washington area. I am a wife and mother of three beautiful girls 15, 4 and 2.5 years old. I am Towson University alumni. I've been working in the maternal child health field for 5 years as a perinatal nurse. I received my initial training in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum at Howard County General Hospital and now currently practice nursing at Mercy Medical Center on a per diem basis. I have both personal and professional experience with breastfeeding. I've completed my studies to become certified by International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLC). I am also Doulas of North America (DONA International) trained in labor and postpartum support.
We had a wonderful labor experience thanks to the outstanding care we received from Danielle. From the moment we met her in the delivery room, she made us feel at ease and tended to our every need. She took a genuine interest in our and our baby’s wellbeing throughout a long night of labor. My water broke at 2:30am and Danielle’s shift was supposed to end at 3:00am, but she graciously decided to stay until 5:30am to see through the delivery and welcome our baby to the world. We cannot thank Danielle enough for her sincerity and outstanding care! We’ll be telling our baby about her for years.
